The two main services offered are personal training and day-training. Personal training is where I coach you to train your dog. Helping you learn is one of the most important aspects of dog training, so here I coach you on skills, timing, body language, leash handling, and more.
Day training is where I take over and train your dog without you there. I only offer this in combination with personal training. This is helpful for if you live a really busy life and want to supplement the training you do throughout the week with training I can do for your dog! I find this helpful for reactive dogs where I can take them on their normal walk and do all the training and for puppies that pretty much every second of their life is training!

The initial consultation is a crucial step to our training time together. This virtual consult is designed so we can go over your dog’s background, behavior in depth, understand routine/environment, talk through goals, and answer any question you may have. I do this virtually so we don’t have to worry about your dog and we can focus on the details.
My training is not surface level. We try to get to the root cause of behavior to make sure we’re not just putting on a band-aid. This consultation is key for just that.
I use all this information to create a customized training plan for your family. You’ll also get an idea of what to expect for the first session, this tends to make it the most effective!
After the consultation, you’ll receive a spreadsheet from me with resources, recommendations, and our training plans.

Training takes place wherever we see the behavior occurring. Most of the time that is in your home, so I come to you! If you’re seeing problems arise specifically in the park, then I would suggest we do a training session in the park. Each session can be in different places, but each place will be whatever make the most effective training situation for your specific needs.

One of the biggest things that sets me about is that I am available for email and text support in-between sessions when you purchase a package. This is helpful for video analysis and one off questions to help you feel confident you’re doing the right thing. Keeping me updated makes for the most effective training program, so we can all be on the same page and pivot where neccessary.
My training is collaborative, meaning your input MATTERS! I truly take into account both the human-side and animal-side when creating training plans and apply my coaching skills. My hope is I’ve fostered a safe learning environment for all, so together we can get to the best results.

I work 6 days a week! Sunday-Friday. All scheduling is done via Breely platform, making it easy for you to find a time that works best for you. I typically recommend that clients book all their sessions out to make sure they get the date/time they’re looking for, but have no fear, you’re not set in stone! My cancellation policy is to cancel or reschedule 12 hours before.

My favorite gear is a well-fitted Y-shaped harness connected to a 6+ foot leash. These harnesses should not affect your dog’s gait and should be comfortable for them to wear. Gear is used for safety, think like a seat belt or a helmet!
